Expo '70, Osaka
i bought this little Japanese stamp book and found out it's a part of a series of stamp books from the Osaka expo's and in it was this little pamphlet with the 70's expo so i read about it on wiki and it's very interesting- there's a time capsule and a moon rock and more here's the link for the curious: Expo '70

netsuke!!
Netsuke was used in the kimono but now is more a small sculpture showcasing the great craftsmanship and art.
i love them, and i will be honored to have one some day.
they are so cute and shiny, usually from wood or ivory.
they are like a tiny ball which holds mysterious fascination to me.
they are usually antiques but in this picture above it's a modern netsuke (i think), taken from a scene of a movie called [映画-邦画] ハチミツとクローバー (honey and clove ?)

日本料理 nihon ryouri
i'm not mad about sushi but it's very colorful and fun..
this time i tasted the best sushi till now, it's a bit worm and it's the upper left on the pic, i'm sorry i don't remember it's name though.
the name of the restaurant is "onami" in Tel Aviv, Israel.
also, the Agedashi dish of soup and tofu with tiny mushrooms is soo delicious!!
